2011

Here is a recap on what happened in the year 2011 

• Jake finished boot camp and tech school in Texas
• I finished Medical Assisting school in Utah
• I moved to Texas and lived with my brother for 2 months while Jake finished tech school
• Jake and I traveled from Texas to New Mexico to Arizona to Utah to be with family for a week before we moved across the country to Washington D.C.
• I turned 21 (wahoo)
• Jake turned 23 (wahoo)
• I got a camera that enabled me to begin my passion for photography and begin somewhat of a business (hopefully in 2012 it takes off big time)
• Jake got coined by the main general of the Army
• We went on a trip to Ocean City MD> I got sunburned really bad, but it was an amazing trip and we hope to go back someday. 
• I got a job in Fairfax, VA as a medical assistant and it pretty much takes over my life 90% of the time during the week. If I have a day for myself I rejoice. 
• Jake got Volunteer Airman of the Quarter :)
• We moved into our first apartment 
• We had our first Christmas together
• Harry Potter ended and I cried
• Bella had a baby and her eyes turned red 
• We had 2 new babies come into our family! Welcome Harli and Kade!
• I learned how to cook and that I love cooking
• We had our first anniversary
• Jake got told he is getting deployed
• We saw some of the country's best and most amazing historical landmarks
• We got a puppy named Eve
• We got 3 fish and they all died within 24 hours
• We got a catfish and it died within 72 hours
• We decided we should never have fish
• I got a calling in the Primary and it scares me sometimes ha ha
• I went to Disneyland
• Jakes mom and dad came and visited us in October
• My mom and dad came and visited us in November
• We realized there really is no place like Utah. And we miss Utah for that reason. 
• I dyed my hair BLONDE and then dyed it brown then it washed out and was an ugly blonde then I chopped my hair off and dyed it to my natural color and now I want my long hair back with my natural color. :)
• We celebrated the 4th of July on the National Mall and then watched fireworks on the Potomac River over the Washington Monument

That it pretty much the recap. 

This year went by so fast. I remember blogging last new years about how the year 2011 was going to be a good one. Well, it was a good year, and I am expecting the year 2012 to be even better. We have a lot going on this next year and I am sure it will go by just as fast if not faster than 2011, but I know we will enjoy the ride as it happens. 

By the way Christmas was awesome and we both feel very blessed with what we received as gifts and thank everyone for what they sent. We loved it! We had to much fun opening gifts and laughing and enjoying each other that I would not change that day at all. It was perfect.
