It's such a wonderful crazy amazing weird remarkable life

I guess me and my "blogging more" days didn't really last long.
Oh well.

I was never really good at keeping a journal so why did I think it was going to work now? No Idea.

Life here at the Worthington home has been crazy fun and awesome!

Last time I posted it was back in October.

Some things have happened since October and I'm not really sure what I posted about last time so I'm just going to say what has been going on and if I repeat myself I am sorry. Ha ha.

First, Jakes mom and dad came and visited us and it was so much fun. We got to spend a week with them and we really enjoyed having them here. I hope they come back soon so we can explore some more. We went to Mt Vernon with them, the National Mall, the Temple, the Museums, and we went out to eat a lot to some really really good places.

After Lisa and Mike left life here got a little on the busy side. I decided that the time was now or, well not never, but it was a good time to start my photography business. I started doing photo shoots for military families for free, and was booked with doing 5-7 photo shoots per week. BUT you know how it goes, you put a price on anything and the business will slow a bit. I am now charging for my work be to done, and I am down to doing only 4 photo shoots a week. Still very good and I really do enjoy what I am doing. I also love my camera and my MAC because with those two things I can do so much more than with a dinky little point and shoot and my laptop.
Business is great, and I hope to keep everyone updated on how I am doing.

Jake is busy at work. I like to brag about him so this is me bragging. Jake is getting nominated for Airman of the quarter (or something like that) because his supervisor thinks he is amazing, plus he got coined by THE general of the army (being coined is kind of a big compliment and big deal in the military, and the higher the rank the better, this guy just happened to be the general that is right under President Obama), he scored really high on his CDC tests and QC tests and because of that he got 2 days off of work, he does a TON of service work outside of the military, and he is just so amazing it shocks me every day the kind of man I married. He is going to be starting school soon and getting that over with! I am so proud of him and so excited for him too. I love him.

The month of November flew by!
Jakes 23rd birthday was on the 11th so it was 11-11-11 and because it was veterans day and he just so happens to be in the military, he got a free olive garden meal! Bonus for me because then I don't have to cook and he gets exactly what he wants - breadsticks -. He got a lot of really cool things. His grandma and grandpa made a really nice quilt that we both love so much. His mom and dad gave him a really cool book, and I gave him the star wars movies with some LOTR models that he can paint himself. He really loved his birthday. I even decorated the whole place and made him cupcakes! :) It was really one of the best days!
I decorated for Christmas the first week of November, and then with all the photo shoots and Jake working and me working and both of us having callings in church it was kind of a blur. Then this last week came and it was the week of Thanksgiving and my mommy and daddy came to spend it with us! I loved seeing them and having them here! We went to the Capitol, Mt Vernon, BREAKING DAWN, Georgetown, Old Town to Gadsby's Tavern, National Harbor, and The Library of Congress. It was so relaxing having them here and so much fun! I love having my mom around because then I have someone to go shopping with. Even though I don't buy anything I still like to go look and she is the best person to go do that with. Jake and I loved having them here and I am so excited to go to Texas in January to see the whole family!

Thanksgiving was awesome! We had a huge dinner that could have served 100 people rather than 4. BUT IT WAS AWESOME!
We had turkey, ham, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, roles, stuffing, and frog eyed salad. It was huge! I loved it! And after we ate we all laid on the couch and watched a movie, then we played Apples to Apples. I love that game.
My mom and I cooked the whole time. It was so much fun being in the kitchen with her. I loved every moment of it.

Now it's time for Christmas and I CAN'T WAIT!  I love Christmas. I wish it was Christmas all year long because everyone seems to be just a little bit nicer when it's Christmas. I love it! And I love the spirit that comes. :)

Well I am wishing everyone a joyful Christmas and holiday season and I hope everyone stays safe.
I don't know when I will blog again so be cheerful this season!

Here are some pictures of Jakes Birthday! (PS his eyes are red in some because he was going through a really bad head cold/sinus infection and it went into his eyes so in some pictures it's more clear, poor guy)
