Ocean City and Such...

Jake and I just got back last night from a beautiful (but busy) city of Ocean City. It was a blast being there. To save money we decided to stay at a campground, which really was an RV park that had a lawn for 10 tents. I felt like the trailer park of the RV park. It was so much fun sleeping there because we were no more than 5 steps away from everyone else sleeping there, and every morning at 6:30 we were woken up by a garbage man. It was great fun. We got there Thursday night and set up camp then went straight to bed because we wanted to have fun on Friday. On Friday we did a lot of things. Here is the list.

1. We went down to the boardwalk that was 3 miles long, rented some bikes and rode around for a couple hours. So much fun!
2. We then went to check out this pirate ship that was advertised, but turned out to be just a kiddie ride, so we ate at the restaurant that was right there. It was yummy food!
3. We then went and rented some jet skis and rode those for an hour. Jake thinks I'm the craziest driver in the world, which is funny because I have been told that before. I LOVE JET SKIS!
4. We got ready and went to dinner after that to a place called Phillips. So good. It was like a chuck a rama meets red lobster. We ate our first crab cakes and blue crabs there. I have to say that they are totally over rated back here. Not saying they are bad, but how people talk about them would make you think they were the best thing in the world.
5. We then went and walked on the beach. It's weird being on the Atlantic and not getting a sunset, but seeing the moon rise up. I'm so used to Californias beaches where you have the sunset and everything. Not here deary.
6. We then went and played put put golfing or how Jake calls it, Mini Golf. Same thing. It was way fun. Out of the 50 put put golfing places they had on the main street, we decided to go to the pirate looking one. We could have gone to the dragon one, the dinosour ones, the knight and shining armor, the bug one, the jungle one...and a lot of other ones. It was ridiculous how many were there. But anywho, we had a lot of fun. And to make it better I WON! Ha ha ha.

Saturday we just spent the day at the beach. We were there by 8 and stayed there until about 2 then went to the outlet stores until 4. I thought I had my ipod get stolen while there and found this out as were leaving the stores so I was so sad and not trusting a soul in the world, luckily this morning Jake found it in my suitcase. I love him. Anyway, as we got driving down the road we were about an hour and a half out when I wanted some strawberries from the farmers on the side of the road, so we stopped and realized Jake didnt have his wallet. This was very bad because it had his military ID in it and everything. So after taking care of the money side of losing a wallet, we started to head home again not thinking anyone would return it because no one is trustworthy in this world, but I had this feeling that we needed to go back. So we turned around and went back to the stores. I dropped Jake off to look around the stores and I went to where we were parked. I went into the closest store, and luckily someone had returned it and the security of the mall had it. Ah! I love trustworthy people. There is still hope in this life for mankind.

The trip was amazing. Only downer that happened was I got sunburned pretty bad. I guess I just don't have the same skin that I did while in high school. I have let myself get pretty pale the last couple years that it didn't occur to me that I need sunblock from now on. I was in a lot of pain coming home and today I have blisters all over my shoulders. :( I'm very sad this has happened because it makes me immobile and Jake has to do things for me that I'm so used to doing myself. It is just really sad. Right now though, I'm missing my pale skin and wanting it to be back. Blah. Ha ha ha.

Another thing that Jake and I did fun this last week and a half was we went to Rise of the Planet of Apes, which we both really liked. Then we went swimming at the local pool here for a couple hours and that was so much fun.
Jake is loving his job so far, and I really like mine too. Life is Good here. We love living on our own and having responsibilites all the time. It's great!

Here are some pictures of our trip and swimming. :)

Aren't they so cute! I want one
