Montana. Oh Montana. Hmmm. :)

You know how they say everywhere you go that is new is an adventure. Well I'm pretty sure the next 3 years are going to be an adventure. When I think of the state of Montana, I think hunting, camping, fishing, mountains, and COLD. But, from what I've heard there is a lot more to do there than the A typical of what I believe my husband and I already do in the great county of Tooele. There is the Glacier National Park, Calgary, Cardston Temple, Banff, Yellowstone National Park, and a lot of other places to travel to that wouldn't have been as easy living here in Utah. Not going to lie, when Jake first told me this last Sunday that we were going to Montana...I actually cried. Not because of happiness, oh no! Not at all, I was a little disappointed 1. being that I really wanted to live either on the east coast or Europe and 2. I wanted to live a little farther away from home than 8 hours. I know that sounds horrible, but luckily for me my mom completely understands ha ha. So I cried, and I tried to cover it up because it's not like it's Jake's choice on where we go, and it's not like he can change it, so I was blubbering and saying yeah it's going to be fun while talking to him. After a good hour I was able to control myself and read up on the city of Great Falls on the Internet and learned that it's actually not going to be as bad as I thought it was going to be. Now, I'm so excited to go to Montana. It's going to be great and fun. Plus, it's a station where not a lot of security forces gets deployed so that gives Jake a huge chance of not being deployed in the next couple of years, which would be nice for us for a change. We need an actual year together before we get separated again. It's a nuclear base so he will be around a lot of that sort of stuff, which is cool and interesting because that is what my dad worked with when he was in the Navy. So I'm very excited to be going to Great Falls, and I'm excited to call it my home. I believe the Lord has a hand in everything and I may not have liked it at first, but there is a huge reason why we have been stationed here and I can already see the blessings coming from this. I am so excited to go! I can't even stand it! Now if only I could see the layouts of the houses we could be living in so I could decorate a little, then I would be sooo satisfied. Ha ha.
I love military life and all the joy and blessings we have already received because of it.
