Sick.

First of all I CANNOT believe it is already February. 

Wow time goes by really quickly. Especially when you are busy. 

So far in the year 2012 all I have accomplished is being sick. 

Yep. It just doesn't seem to be my year when it comes to health. 

I have had migraines every 4 days, and in between a constant headache. I've had this for the last year and half, but lately it's been getting worse. 

I have terrible stomach pains and I'm nauseated all the time (no, for those wondering, I am NOT pregnant)

I went to the doctor for those things, and of course they did the whole take the blood thing (which BTW was the worst pain ever in history of me having my blood taken, the whole time I wanted to rip the needle out and say look fella I do this for a living and you are doing it ALL wrong and it's hurting) 

Anyway, he also sent me to have an MRI for the migraines. 

Blood has come back normal, and personally I don't have time to go in for an MRI, so I'm waiting until I am in Utah to do that part. 

Just when I thought I was getting that all taken care of I get a cough and it took my voice away and made me immobile. I thought I was going to hack up a lung. This started on Tuesday and luckily the cough has kind of stopped since Friday. BUT on Saturday morning I woke up and now I have a terrible sinus infection that makes me want to just lay down and do nothing. 

I feel bad because I had to miss a lot of work this week to get healthy, which hasn't happened even though I'm taking 3 different pills to knock it out of me. Hopefully by tomorrow morning I feel better so work wont be so hard on me. I can't miss another day. 

I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. 

Plus my nose is now on fire because of all the sniffing, stuffyness, sneezing, blowing, and all the other crap that happens when the nose is under pressure. Literally. 

I really hate being sick because the life of Jake and Courtney gets put on hold. The house turns into a bombshell because Jake works, and has to be in bed by 8:00 PM so he can wake up at 3:00. And I don't do anything because I don't want to do anything. 

On a good happy note:

Jake and I went to San Antonio last weekend to visit my family. My mom, dad, sister, niece, and brother in law flew in from Utah and we all stayed at my brother and sister in laws place. It was my niece's 2nd birthday. And we got to meet our little nephew Kade for the first time. He is so cute, and the happiest little guy I have ever met. 

We had a blast while in Texas and can't wait until April when we will be in Utah to see more family. :)
